Clifford Haefke

Mr. Haefke is working for ERC under the Policy & Assessment Group. In this role, he has conducted cost-benefit analyses to identify the impact of R&D programs on consumers, manufacturers, and the gas industry. His projects have included marketing a new diffusion-based coating technology using Fluidized Bed Furnaces and aiding in the development of energy saving programs assisting lower income households.

Mr. Haefke worked with the California Energy Commission developing the California Advanced Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines Collaborative (ARICE), evaluating existing and future technologies of reciprocating engines, identifying key industry contacts, and facilitating R&D workshops. Mr. Haefke is currently developing a BCHP Engineering model, created in Microsoft Excel, with Dr. Ryan. The model is designed to test and evaluate DG, BCHP and CHP systems of various generators, chillers, turbines and other applications.
