Avelino Deveyra Visiting Research Engineer Education Avelino is a graduate of the Master of Energy Engineering program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is currently the team lead for the SEDAC-ERC team, overseeing energy audits on commercial, municipal and public buildings. SEDAC is the Smart Energy Design Assistance Center managed by the School of Architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, Avelino has 2.5 years experience working as a student tech under the University of Illinois at Chicago Industrial Assessment Center, performing industrial energy audits on small to midsized industrial facilities across the midwest. He is familiar with many Department of Energy programs and tools and regularly participates in webinars and energy programs established by the U.S. DOE.
