Desiccant Humidity Control Showcase Trailer

Through DOE funding, ERC developed presentations, planned itineraries and staffed events to demonstrate the comfort benefits and energy savings of advanced humidity control equipment for buildings and processes. Visitors experienced first hand in the two-zone trailer the difference between poor humidity control with conventional AC equipment (in zone 1), and the improved comfort from desiccant based humidity control (in zone 2). ERC facilitated exhibiting the trailer at 13 venues and toured over 1800 visitors, including builders, architects, engineers, HVAC manufacturers, energy industry professionals, and others through the trailer
