Moisture Resistant Building Envelopes

As part of a comprehensive ongoing program to address mold in California homes, ERC is coordinating with the state department of insurance to develop a water damage database to determine the geographic distribution of residential claims. ERC also is surveying literature and interviewing experts to generate recommended building assemblies for water intrusion experiments at GTI. ERC will assist in the experimental setup and evaluation of results.
