Workshop on Waste Heat Recovery to Power and
September 29-30, 2010
This is the only workshop in the nation devoted
to waste heat recovery for power and heat. This two-day event is
being organized by the U.S. Department of Energy Clean Energy Application
The workshop will provide a venue to gain insight on waste heat
recovery concepts and technologies, meet with industry experts,
engage in discussion panels with project developers, engineers,
and system operators, and learn about financial and policy related
activities impacting these projects.

EEBA Workshops @ University of Illinois at
This course has been developed by the Energy &
Environmental Building Association (EEBA) based on research from
the U.S. Department of Energys Building America Program. Regional
case studies are featured, demonstrating high performance homes
and the dramatic results achieved. Houses That Work is the
best educational investment you can make for improving the performance,
efficiency and durability of the homes you build. This session provides
strategies and concepts that reduce costly callbacks, warranty,
and liability issues. Further details and registration information
for the seminar series can be found on the EEBA web site (www.eeba.org).
The seminar series is hosted by UIC and sponsored by the National
Center for Energy Management and Building Technologies (NCEMBT),
Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation (ICECF), and Illinois
Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), and others.
