WEBINAR: POLLINATOR HABITAT IN PRACTICE
Please join us on December 2nd at 11:00 AM CST for a webinar titled Pollinator Habitat in Practice: Noble Energy's Pipeline Right-of-Way Project in Northeast Colorado.
A panel of presenters from both the public and private sectors will share their perspectives and experience on the Lillifield Pipeline project: a collaborative effort between the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, U.S. Forest Service, Noble Energy, and non-profit organizations to install pollinator habitat along a quarter mile stretch of pipeline on the Pawnee National Grasslands in Northeast Colorado.
Topics presented on the webinar will include: reasoning for site selection, project design and implementation, monitoring of plant and insect diversity, weed management, educational outreach, and successful collaboration between the project partners to monitor and manage the yearly plant and insect species changes. The webinar will walk through the step-by-step process of planning, implementing, and monitoring since November 2013, including the most recent field monitoring results from Fall 2015. Photos and field data will be shared to show how the pollinator project has progressed over the past two years.
